Natural essential oils and plant-derive ingredients make this product safe, effective and completely biodegradable. Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day products provide an effective alternative for people who are concerned with the environmental effects of conventional cleaning products. Our formulas combine natural essential oils with leading-edge cleaning know-how to provide an enjoyable, safe experience for our customers.
- All of our liquid products are biodegradable.
- Some of our powder products contain minerals that do not biodegrade, but do break down into non-harmful decomposition products and return to the earth as they left it.
- Our products do not contain ammonia, chlorine, glycol solvents, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde, artificial colorants, phosphates or petroleum distillates.
- Our packaging is recyclable and we use 25% post consumer plastic in our bottles.
- We do not test our products on animals, nor are our products made with animal-derived ingredients.
- We make intelligent, responsible raw material choices, and whenever possible, obtain materials from renewable plant resources such as coconut, palm, corn, soy or olive. At times we choose not to use a plant-derived material for reasons of efficacy, consistency and safety.
