- Can I use my coupons in-store and online?
Our coupons can be used either online or in any store location unless they are specific web or store specials, in which case they may only be used at the designated location. Please present any coupons to the store cashier or enter the code into the appropriate box on our website while purchasing an item online. Please note, one coupon per customer and purchase and be sure to use your coupon before its expiration date. To find the store nearest you, click on the Store Locations tab on our website.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
When purchasing an order online or in any store location, you are welcome to use any type of Credit or Debit card, as well as your Basics Plus Gift Card. If you have a Google Checkout or PayPal account, you may use them for payment at www.BasicsPlus.com as well. Cash is, of course, another in-store payment option.
- How do I get Basics Plus coupons?
Basics Plus sends out periodical newsletters with coupons that can easily be printed
from your computer for use in any of our stores. You can also copy
the coupon code and enter it into the appropriate box on our website when purchasing an order online.
Also, please check out our website from time to time, as well as our Facebook page, for additional limited-time coupons that we may offer through our sites. If you would like to sign up for our newsletter, you can Sign Up For Basics Plus Emails at the bottom of our website.
- How can I find out if a particular store in my neighborhood carries a specific item?
In order to find a specific product in stock at a particular store, simply click on the item you are looking for and go to Check Store Availability. You may also call your neighborhood store directly. A full list of our locations and corresponding phone numbers may be found in the Store Locations tab on our website.
- How do I return an item that I purchased online?
You may easily return any item by contacting us to receive a prepaid shipping label to send it back to Basics Plus via FedEx. Once the item is received, your credit card will be refunded. Online returns may also be done at any of our stores for a refund, merchandise credit, or exchange. Please refer to our Return Policy, displayed in the menu bar of our website.
- How can I check the balance of my Basics Plus gift card?
In order to find out the balance of your Basics Plus Gift Card, please visit the Check Gift Card Balance tab at the bottom of our website. You can also check the balance of your gift card at the store nearest you by giving your card to any cashier to scan.
- How can I subscribe to Basics Plus mailing list and/or newsletters?
You can easily subscribe to our mailing list for updates and great offers by entering your email address in the window next to the Sign Up For Basics Plus Emails tab at the bottom of our website.
- How do I place or update a bridal or gift registry?
Simply click onto our Gift Registry tab and follow the instructions for either creating a registry, editing your registry, or finding your friend's or family's registry online.
- How can I get a copy of my invoice?
Invoices are always enclosed in the package that you receive with your order. Once you place an order you will also receive an order confirmation via email.
- Do I have to pay sales tax?
Yes, we are required to charge applicable sales taxes on products that are shipped within the state of New York.
- Can I change or cancel my order?
We always strive to process and ship each order as soon as possible. You may however, send us an email request with the wish to cancel or change your order prior to our processing your order. In the case that you request a change after we have already processed and shipped your order, you will be able to return each item by contacting us and sending the order back to Basics Plus. Once the returned item is received your credit card will be refunded. Online returns may also be done at any of our stores for a refund, a merchandise credit, or an exchange
- Do you offer discounts on bulk purchases, including gift cards?
We will be glad to offer you a discount on orders of 20 items or more. Simply contact us and let us know what item and quantity you are looking for and we will advise you of what discount we can offer.
- Do I have to make an appointment to create my gift registry? When should I do so?
No, appointment necessary. Please feel free to create an account on our website at any time. The earlier, the better. Please follow the instructions under the Gift Registry tab for either creating, editing, or finding a friend's or family member’s registry online.
- How long will my gift registry be in your system?
Your Gift Registry will stay in our system until you delete it.
- How can I update my personal information in my Basics Plus account?
Simply click on the My Account tab on our website, create an account, or log into your existing account and follow the instructions to update your personal information.
- Do you gift-wrap orders upon request? Can I add a personalized note to my purchase?
Yes, during the checkout process you may check the appropriate boxes for gift-wrapping and personalized notes. Please see window provided to enter a personalized note desired to accompany any gift.
- Why do I need to enter my email address?
We use your email address to send your order confirmation and any order updates. We will also send you periodical newsletters with special offers and coupons. However, this is optional and you may opt-out of our newsletters at any time by clicking on the link on the bottom of each of our emails.
- How can I find a specific product on your website?
You have several options for finding an item on our website. You can browse the individual sections on our site, such as Kitchen, Bathroom, or Cleaning, as well as detailed categories in each of those sections. These detailed categories let you narrow your search further until you find what you are looking for. You may also find a particular brand under the Brands tab. Additionally, you have the option of entering a specific word or product name in the Search box on the upper right side of our website.
- How long does it take to ship my order?
Basics Plus always strives to process and ship orders as soon as possible. Orders placed before 12pm EST will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 12 pm EST will be shipped the following day.
- How do I save products in my shopping cart on your website?
Once you click on Add To Cart, the item being viewed will automatically be saved to your shopping cart until you delete it. If you log out of your account without purchasing or deleting an item, it will remain in your Shopping Cart to be viewed the next time you log into your account. You may also add items that you are interested in, but don't want to purchase right away, to your Wish List. The items will stay in your Wish List until you purchase or delete them as well.
- Do you have any leading products on your website?
Yes, our featured products are marked with our flame symbol for your convenience. Please check out our website from time to time for newly featured, as well as sale and clearance items.
